وقعت وزارة النقل والاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات (اليوم الأربعاء) مذكرة تعاون مع أوكيو- المجموعة العالمية المتكاملة للطاقة- كشريك استراتيجي؛ لرعاية سباق عمان للبرمجة 2023م والذي يعد أحد مبادرات “مكين” التي تعمل على إعداد وتأهيل الشباب العًماني في مجال البرمجة من خلال إجراء مسابقات تقنية تتعلق بالبرمجة التي تستهدف فئة الشباب للإرتقاء بمهارات التفكير، وإتقان أساليب البرمجة وابتكار الحلول التقنية.
وبهذه المناسبة صرح سعادة الدكتور علي الشيذاني قائلًا: “سعداء بالشراكة الإستراتيجية مع أوكيو في العديد من المجالات التي تعزز الجوانب التقنية التي تنفذها الوزارة، وتمكين الكوادر الوطنية في سباقات الأفكار؛ لمواكبة التطورات التكنولوجية وتوظيفها للتحول الرقمي”. وأضاف الشيذاني أن توقيع المذكرة يأتي ضمن إطار التعاون القائم مع وزارة النقل والاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات وأوكيو؛ مشيراً إلى أن الخطوة تصب في اتجاه تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية عُمان 2040م.
من جانبه قال أشرف بن حمد المعمري: “إن أوكيو تعمل بالشراكة مع الجهات الحكومية لدعم المبادرات الوطنية في هذا المجال الهادف إلى تمكين الكوادر الوطنية في المجالات التقنية التي تهيئ الشباب العًماني للعمل في المجالات المتخصصة”.
وأضاف المعمري أن توقيع الاتفاقية مع وزارة النقل والاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات يأتي في إطار رفع كفاءة الشباب العًماني وجاهزيته لسوق العمل بما يضمن الاستدامة لمخرجات هذه المبادرة ويخدم الأهداف الوطنية للقطاعين العام والخاص.
وأشار إلى أن أوكيو تولي أهمية قصوى للتحول الرقمي كأحد مرتكزات استراتيجيتها في استثماراتها وأعمالها وأنشطتها لرفع كفاءة الطاقة بتوظيف التكنولوجيا.
