منظمة التعاون الرقمي تستعرض جهود سلطنة عمان في الاقتصاد الرقمي؛ وتعيد اختيارها في عضوية اللجنة التنفيذية
استعرضت الجمعية العمومية لمنظمة التعاون الرقمي في اجتماعها الثالث في مملكة البحرين الشقيقة اليوم الأربعاء؛ جهود سلطنة عمان في الاقتصاد الرقمي وقيادتها للجنة المراقبين التي تضم مجموعة من الشركات العالمية والهيئات الأكاديمية العاملة في مجال الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات والاقتصاد الرقمي حول العالم؛ حيث تشارك سلطنة عمان ممثلة في وزارة النقل والاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات برئاسة معالي المهندس سعيد بن حمود المعولي وزير النقل والاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات؛ وبمشاركة عدد من المسؤولين والمتخصصين من الوزارة.
كما تم خلال الاجتماع إعادة اختيار سلطنة عمان عضوا في اللجنة التنفيذية للمنظمة ممثلة بسعادة الدكتور علي بن عامر الشيذاني وكيل الوزارة (للاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات)، وهي لجنة معنية بمتابعة تنفيذ البرامج والخطط، ورسم السياسات التي تسهم في دفع عجلة الاقتصاد الرقمي بين الدول الأعضاء.
محاور الاجتماع
ناقش الاجتماع الثالث للجمعية العمومية لمنظمة التعاون الرقمي بمشاركة ١٧ دولة؛ تطورات البرامج والمشاريع التي نفذتها المنظمة خلال السنة الماضية والتي ساهمت في نمو الاقتصاد الرقمي في الدول الأعضاء؛ كما تم استعراض قائمة المشاريع الجديدة للفترة القادمة التي تتناسب مع التطورات في مجال الاقتصاد الرقمي للاستفادة منها؛ كما تضمن الاجتماع الترحيب بانضمام بعض الدول الجدد في المنظمة واعتماد دعوة بعض الدول ذات الإمكانيات الرقمية للانضمام إلى المنظمة.
مشاريع عمانية
تقوم المنظمة حاليا بتنفيذ مجموعة من المشاريع والمبادرات مع سلطنة عمان ممثلة في وزارة النقل والاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات في عدة مجالات مثل: حوكمة البيانات، الضرائب الرقمية، قياس نضج الاقتصاد الرقمي وجذب الاستثمارات الأجنبية المباشرة، إلى جانب توسع الشركات التقنية الناشئة العاملة في مجال الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات في أسواق الدول الأعضاء للمنظمة؛ كما تخطط سلطنة عمان لاستضافة لجنة المراقبين التي تضم مجموعة من الشركات التقنية العالمية للاجتماع في مسقط خلال النصف الأول من هذا العام.
