توطين زراعة الكركم في ولاية رخيوت بمحافظة ظفار

رخيوت /العُمانية/ يواصل مشروع توطين زراعة الكركم نجاحه في أربع ولايات بمحافظة ظفار للعام الثالث على التوالي، حيث خصصت مساحات محددة لزراعة الكركم في ولاية ضلكوت ورخيوت وصلالة وطاقة بتمويل من صندوق التنمية الزراعية والسمكية.

ويشجع هذا النجاح المزارعين في محافظة ظفار على زيادة إنتاجهم، كما تعد زراعة الكركم فرصة مجدية للحصول على دخل جيد وتعزيز الاقتصاد المحلي.

وقالت أروى عكعاك إحدى المستفيدات من الدعم: لقد قمنا بزراعة الكركم في عام 2022 وشهدنا نجاحًا ملحوظًا، وفي عام 2023م قمنا بزراعة كميات أكبر وزدنا المساحات لتوسيع نطاق المشروع، حيث أصبح الكركم الآن مصدرًا مهمًا في مجال الطب والتغذية.

ووضحت أنّ الكركم يحتاج إلى تربة طينية ويفضل أن يكون متوسط درجة الحرارة السنوية بين 20-35 درجة مئوية، ونقوم بتهيئة التربة بحِراثتها جيّدًا أكثر من مرة وإزالة الأعشاب الضارة والشوائب.

وأشارت أنّه يتم زراعة ما بين 60 إلى 70 كيلو على مساحة 500 متر من نهاية شهر مايو أو بداية شهر يونيو ونحصل على إنتاج أكثر من طن، وذلك حسب نوع التربة وكمية الري ولكن تواجهنا تحديات في توفير الماء وصعوبة وصوله إلى المنطقة حيث يستغرق وصول الماء إلينا ما يقرب من أسبوع.

وأفادت بأنّ منتج الكركم خضع لعمليات الفحص وحصل على شهادة تثبت خلوه من 400 نوع من المبيدات الحشرية، ويعد كركمنا منتجًا عضويًّا بنسبة 100%.

يذكر أنّ توطين زراعة الكركم يقلل من الاعتماد على واردات الكركم من الخارج، ويعزز الاكتفاء الذاتي، ويخلق فرص عمل للمواطنين ويسهم في تنمية الاقتصاد المحلي
