رصد خمسة انواع من طائر البوم المهددة بالانقراض في محافظة البريمي

البريمي /العُمانية/ تمتاز محافظة البريمي بتنوع مفردات الحياة الفطرية في ولاياتها الثلاث نظرًا لما تتميز به من تنوع في التضاريس المتمثلةِ في الجبال والسهول والأودية والرمال والأشجار البرية التي تُشكِّل هي الأخرى أحد عوامل الجذب للطيور المهاجرة منها والمستوطِنة.

ويبذل المختصون في إدارة البيئة بالمحافظة جهودًا متواصلة من أجل حماية الحياة الفطرية، والحفاظ على التنوع الحيوي، وتوثيق تفاصيلها المختلفة، وتعزيز ثقافة الموظفين حول الأنواع المهددة بالانقراض، إذ تُرجمت الجهود هذه إلى رصد وتوثيق خمسةِ أنواع من طائر البوم في المحافظة.

وقال محمد بن سالم البلوشي أخصائي نظم بيئية بإدارة البيئة بمحافظة البريمي إنّه استطاع بعد جهد استمر أربع سنوات من رصد خمسة أنواع نادرة من البوم في أماكن مختلفة بالمحافظة، مضيفًا أنّ أهميتها تكمن في كونها من الأنواع المهددة بالانقراض.

وأوضح أنّ الأنواع التي جرى رصدها في المحافظة تمثّلت في البومة النسارية (الفرعونية) والبومة قصيرة الأذن، وبومة المخازن، والبومة الصغيرة، وبومة الأشجار المخططة، مؤكدًا أنّ عملية الرصد هذه مكّنته من معرفة الخصائص التي تُميّزها، إضافة إلى طريقة عيشها ومواسم وجودها.

وأشار إلى أنّ البومة النسارية (الفرعونية) تنتشر في شمال أفريقيا وشبه الجزيرة العربية، وتنتمي لعائلة البوم الحقيقي من رتبة البوميات، ويصل حجمها من 50 – 70 سنتمترا كما يصل وزنها من1-3 كيلوجرامات، ويبلغ طول جناحيها مترين تقريبا، وتعشش فوق الأجراف وفي أعشاش الغربان القديمة على الأشجار، وتتميّز بلون عينيها الأصفر المائل للبرتقالي، إضافة إلى وجود خصلتين قصيرتين من الريش على أذنيها، ويشبه وجهها وجه القطة.

أمّا البومة الصمعاء أو البومة قصيرة الأذن فهي توجد في مناطق عديدة في نصف الكرة الشمالية، وهي من الطيور التي تعيش في المناطق المكشوفة كالمستنقعات، وغالبًا ما تصطاد أثناء النهار وتعشش على الأرض، أما بومة المخازن فتتميز بحجمها المتوسط، وتمتاز بلونها الذهبي، أمّا الأنثى منها فتتميز ببقع داكنة، أمّا وجهها فهو يشبه شكل قلب إضافة إلى عينها السوداء، وهي تعيش في المناطق المفتوحة المشجرة وفي بيئات المزارع والمدن، وتبني أعشاشها في المستودعات الكبيرة وفي فجوات الأشجار والمباني القديمة.

وبيّن أنّ البومة الصغيرة تمتاز برأس مستدير وسيقان طويلة، ويتميّز لون الأنثى منها بالرمادي الذي يميل إلى اللون البني، وتتميز الأجزاء العلوية منها بوجود نقاط بيضاء، إضافة إلى عيونها الصفراء ومنقارها الأصفر الفاتح، ويتراوح طولها بين 21-23 سم؛ أمَّا بومة الأشجار المخططة فيبلغ طولها 21 سنتمترا، ولونها رمادي رملي، فيما يميل لونها من الأسفل إلى الرمادي مع خطوط سوداء واضحة بحدة.

وأكَّد البلوشي أنه تم رصد عملية التكاثر عن طريق التفريخ للأنواع هذه ما عدا البومة قصيرة الأذن كونها غير مستقرة بل تعد من الطيور المهاجرة، مشيرا إلى أنّ التقاط الصور المختلفة للأنواع هذه في المحافظة لم يكن بالأمر السهل، إذ استغرقت العملية أربع سنوات في أماكن مختلفة من المحافظة وتسهم عملية الرصد في تعريف أفراد المجتمع والمختصين منهم والباحثين بالحياة الفطرية، وأهمية المحافظة عليها خصوصًا تلك المهددة بالانقراض منها.

وأشار إلى أنَّ المرحلة القادمة تتمثل في الحفاظ عليها وحمايتها، ومتابعة أماكن وجودها، موضحًا أنَّ عدم الإفصاح عن أماكن وجودها يعد من الأساليب التي تسهم في الحفاظ عليها، وعدم تعرضها للصيد الجائز.
